Is human Translation still relevant?
We’re not ones for pretense. Translation has changed. Machine translation and artificial intelligence are very capable and can produce good translations, even adequate localizations. We continuously test different programs and models to assess their progress. And it’s impressive. So why even consider human translation that costs more and takes more time?
If you’re considering this for your business translation, you have likely experienced the pros and cons of AI. You probably have pointed out mistakes to your non-human interlocutor, who responded with, “You are completely right…”
You see where we’re going with this. Yes, machines can translate well, but they inadvertently make mistakes, sometimes in the form of actual mistranslations, sometimes by not understanding the cultural context. In business, such errors can turn very costly, very fast. Therefore, if you have material that absolutely needs to be localized accurately and appropriately, humans can do what machines can’t: they can be relied upon, especially in a multi-step process that involves several pairs of eyes.
We cherish honesty and will be open with you as to what kind of process suits your needs. And we promise flawless translations, performed by expert translators and editors who know your field.
Our Translation Process
Before agreeing on terms, we assess the material’s scope and context: format, word count, deadline (urgency); industry, level of specialization, other relevant information.
We then send a price quote with a cost per word, and upon signature, begin the process.
We assign the material to the most suitable translator in our roster, who is experienced within the specific project’s industry and qualified to handle the type of material. All our professional translators are native in the language they translate into, and have a proven track record of excellence, reliability and professionalism.
Once the complete translation is returned, we review it to ensure that nothing has been left out and that everything seems to be in order. We consult with the client on translation questions, if there are any.
Following completion, we assign the translated material to a proofreader who is also fluent in the project’s source and target language. They compare it to the original, check its grammar and syntax, and ensure natural flow and clarity.
We employ automated quality assurance as the translation’s final review, ensuring that all materials have been translated, there are no egregious errors, and nothing else was missed.
The materials are returned to the client for review. We answer questions, implement changes and make additions, according to the client’s needs.

Why Marketing Translation and Transcreation Depends on Human Creativity
There is a stark difference between translation and transcreation, and while it’s likely that the former will continue to face the onslaught of AI, the latter will continue to be a human discipline.

FAQs and Customer Support Should Always be Translated to Serve Local Needs
Customer support and FAQs are an integral part of any digital presence nowadays, and their translation literally opens borders.

Comparing Translation and Localization: Key Differences and Pricing
Translation and localization rates are usually calculated differently, but what are the differences between these services?

Are Human Translators Still Needed In The Age of AI?
Machine translation has already left an irreversible mark on the translation industry. But how far can it go, and at what point will human intervention become unnecessary?
